• Participated in the Dibrugarh University Grants Commission sponsored seminar on ‘Eco Friendly Approach for Sustainable Development of Biodiversity in NE India” organized by D.K.G College on 7th July, 2007.

2011:

• Participated in the UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Environmental Awareness: A Great Challenge to Control Environment Pollution’ organized by the Department of Economics, Jorhat College (Amalgamated) in collaboration with Hridayangam (a sports, culture and social organization) on 11th and 12thFebruary, 2011 and presented a paper titled “Towards Environmental Awareness”.
• Participated in the UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘The Challenge of Changing the Mindset of the People to eradicate Gender Discrimination’, organized by the Woman’s Forum, Jorhat College in collaboration with the Jorhat Branch of SodouAsomLekhikaSamarohSamiti on 25th and 26th May, 2011 and presented a paper titled “Family and Gender Crisis”.
• Participated in the International Seminar on ‘River, Society and Sustainable Development’ organized by Dibrugarh University on 26th to 29th May, 2011 and presented a paper titled “Brahmaputra in Travel writing with special reference to Mark Shand’s ‘River Dog’ and Abdul Wakid’s ‘HihurSandhanatLuitedi’ as co-author.
• Participated in the UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Rural Industrialization for Employment and Self-Employment: Prospects of Inclusive Growth in Rural Assam’ organized by Department of Economics, Dakha Devi Rasiwasia College, Chabua in collaboration with Panitola Development Block (Govt. of Assam) on 26th and 27th August, 2011 and presented a paper entitled “Harvesting Industries Potentialities of Bamboo for Comprehensive Rural Development with special reference to Assam”.
